Memory Palace
The project explores the memory palace technique, which is a mnemonic device used to remember large amounts of information by visualising them in a specific location. It is about approaching memory through elements of space and orientation. The collection was created in collaboration with graphic designer Martin Kyjovský, with whom we visualized this method, also known as the "method of loci", through the language of graphic design and subsequently projected it into the pattern design of individual pieces. In this case, graphic design was involved in construction of the garments themselves.
